We all know the heavy-hitters of the Bond theme canon. Dame Shirley Bassey alone gave us three: the elegant Moonraker, the cool menace of Diamonds Are Forever, and of course the benchmark against which all Bond themes are measured, Goldfinger. From the comments on the A-ha episode it’s clear you also all remember Madonna’s outing (and you have opinions 😁). Paul McCartney & Wings can be named by most of us too, as can Adele’s Skyfall, arguably the closest anyone has come to that Bassey benchmark.
