Congrats Pe!! I always look forward to your impeccably researched pieces, theyβre often the highlights of my weekly reading. Looking forward to these new pieces. Many best wishes for the next 100 and beyond!!
Happy to be standing in a long line, Pe, to congratulate you on your "C-Note" of articles! As several others here have declared, I've enjoyed watching you grow into your quite singular lane here on the 'Stack!
My pick for digging into even more is this one: "Were punk and disco really mortal enemies, or did they share more than we think?" I'd love to do it in a verbal debate of sorts with 3 or 4 of us...perhaps we can find someone named Andy in the UK to video a Zoom call, with a few of us, on the topic! Just blue-skying here, but both genres I've enjoyed, so I've got some ideas!
Congrats again, Pe, and will chat soon!-Bπππ΅
Congratulations! Glad you're here! I look forward to your exploration of Casablanca Records. Of course, the disco downfall started here in Chicago with the infamous Disco Demolition. It was a sad day for fans of the genre!
Thanks Dan π One thing Iβll be tackling is the idea that Chicago was the place where everything happened. Sure, the Chicago night got most of the press, but it was far from the only story. First up though: the rise and fall of Neil Bogart and Casablanca Records, the classic βfrom zero to hero and back againβ tale. Wishing you a great week!
Huge congratulations, Pe!! This is a huge milestone and I am very excited for the future. I absolutely love this space you have created β I cannot stress this enough. I love what you say about history and events sometimes being dynamic, and itβs very smart of you to leave some room to revisit/complement certain pieces of the puzzle as and when needed.
Huge congrats once again, and hereβs to 100, 1000, 1000000 and 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 more!!
Thanks for the congrats and support, Andy. The 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 episodes are only the start π Iβve got enough fuel for a more more at least ππ

Thatβs such a wonderful compliment, Mark, thank you! I really appreciate it
