Very interesting analysis, Pe! Your record industry background really shines through here. I didn't know Madleen so I checked out "You Can". I really wanted to like it, but her singing killed it for me. I couldn't get past the first verse 🤣 That said, I really enjoyed reading your analysis. Your record industry insights are sharp as ever.

Giorgio Moroder and Raney Shockne later teamed up to produce the main theme for the USA Network crime drama Queen of the South. It featured an Italian version of Everybody wants to Rule the World with a magical arrangement. But it was Giorgio’s delicious remake of Blondie’s One Way or Another sung hauntingly by Chloe Chaidez that I can’t get out of my head. Virtually ignored as was Madeline Kane for the most part. There is no justice. (Here’s a 5 min sample of the album).
